The Administrator of CSU is responsible for managing and directing a 6-chair behavioral health crisis unit with 24/7 coverage including:
In addition, this position will oversee the clinical operations prescreening, crisis support, scheduling, and drop-in assessments. The Administrator Supports coordination with other services for individuals admitted to the unit and will provide clinical leadership, management, and direct care to individuals admitted to the crisis unit.

Education: Bachelor Degree in Nursing, Master's Degree preferred.
Experience : Minimum five (5) years’ experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing required, with a minimum of three (3) years in a lead/managerial capacity.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the California State Board of Nursing; Registered Nurse (RN)
Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of county regulations , Title XXII, CMS, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care partial programs. Knowledge of NAPHS is a plus. CPR certification and successful completion of the hospital’s designated behavioral and physical management training program including de-escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint required prior to assisting in the procedures. ACLS required within 60 days of hire.
