Job Title : Advanced Electronics Technician
Reports to : Maintenance Superintendent
Location : Winston Salem, NC

To be Successful in this role: - High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or associate degree in electrical technology preferred.
- Valid electrician's license and certification in PLC programming.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance, with a focus on PLC systems.
- Proficient in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
So, what will you be doing as an Electronics Technician?- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and control panels.
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems according to specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to design and implement electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and reports.
- Provide training and support to junior electricians and staff as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.
