**Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk** **Job Description** As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in preparing items for shipping by reading shipping orders and determining the necessary items to be retrieved. You will utilize computers to check inventory availability and locate items within the warehouse. Your role involves using ladders, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts to move shipments and preparing them for outgoing delivery. **Responsibilities** + Read shipping orders to determine items to be retrieved for shipping. + Use computers to determine inventory availability and warehouse location. + Utilize ladders, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts to move shipments. + Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items for outgoing shipments. + Prepare and affix product labels on plastic bags or small cardboard boxes. **Essential Skills** + Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information and collect and research data. + Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly. + Strong technical skills with a commitment to continuous learning and development. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts. + Ability to work well in group problem-solving situations. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values professional growth and continuous learning. You will use various equipment including RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts to perform your duties effectively. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
