Now Hiring: Certified MIG Welder - Northeast Houston.
Pay: $18-$19/hr (Based on Experience).
Schedule: Full-time | Temp-to-Hire | Weekly Pay.

Openwork is currently partnering with a leading manufacturing facility in Northeast Houston to find an experienced Certified MIG Welder . In this skilled role, you’ll contribute to the fabrication of military-grade grating, supporting high-impact projects in a precision-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding in accordance with AWS D1.1 standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Assist with related fabrication processes including use of plate rollers, tube benders, and overhead cranes.
• Adhere strictly to all site safety and quality procedures.
• Contribute to production goals through precision and productivity.

Qualifications:

• Valid AWS D1.1 Certification (Required).
• Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (more preferred).
• Familiarity with ironwork, heavy fabrication tools, and crane operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work from technical schematics.
