Join the team at Greenville County Aquatic Complex, a community-focused facility dedicated to promoting health, fitness, and fun through water-based activities. We are currently seeking a Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of our patrons. This role involves supervising swimmers, enforcing rules and regulations, assisting in swim lesson instruction, and maintaining the cleanliness of our facility. We provide free lifeguard training and do not require certification at the time of application, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to start a career in aquatic safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise swimmers and enforce facility rules and regulations to ensure patron safety.
• Assist in swim lesson instruction as assigned.
• Perform general facility cleaning tasks, including removing debris from the pool, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining other public areas.
• Stock restrooms with necessary supplies.
• Receive and respond effectively to inquiries, concerns, complaints, and requests for assistance from patrons or other staff members.

Qualifications

• Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain Starguard Lifeguard certification.
• Swim Instructor certification is a plus but not required.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $12.98/hour .
