We are currently working with a rapidly growing company in the Greater Philadelphia Area that is looking to add an M&A Analyst to their growing team. The ideal fit will have an audit/public accounting background (position will be heavily responsible for due diligence of acquisitions, which requires heavy analysis of the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flows. Other responsibilities will include valuations, quality of earnings analysis, ad-hoc projects and more).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Conduct financial analysis of potential acquisition target’s income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
§ Perform financial due diligence, including revenue testing, operating expense analysis, and various other ad-hoc analysis.
§ Work closely with senior leadership to discuss potential risks of acquisition.
§ Conduct analysis of profitability of acquisition target going forward, including sustainability of success and ROI targets.
§ Improve processes regarding identifying new acquisition targets.
§ Other projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
§ Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or similar.
§ 2+ years of audit, internal audit, advisory, corporate finance, investment banking, or similar experience.
§ Preferred experiences include relevant transaction experience, Big 4, professional services, or advisory firm.
§ CPA is a plus; not required.
