Job Description

Client: NCCU- Durham, NC- Full Time - First Shift-M-F
W-2 Pay Rate- $25/hour

Job responsibilities/duties-Lab tests that will be performed. MLT ASEP or AMT certification. DLS certified (This is CPR certification). Perform QC tests daily. Maintain patient reports. Draw blood periodically.

Plusses-Someone that can write SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and someone that is a CMA would work out for this position.
Receives and prepares specimens according to standard protocols and procedures; performs analytical laboratory tests and calculations according to section requirements and protocols; performs quality control procedures required for test performance; calibrates, maintains and monitors laboratory equipment; works under general supervision; position minimally requires telephone access to a Medical Technologist when troubleshooting problems; performs phlebotomy procedures as appropriate; and maintains confidentiality of patient related information.
Education

Required - Associate's degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution - OR - military MLT certificate.

Preferred - Hospital or Clinical Laboratory Testing experience.
