Responsibilities

Medical Assistant:

The Medical Assistant I provides clinical office support to the supervising physician and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care.

LPN

The Offsite Licensed Practical Nurse I work as a part of the healthcare team by assisting in planning and implementing care interventions while promoting high quality patient care in a professional, efficient and safe manner, ensuring the patient flow. The Offsite LPN provides personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to patients. This individual is expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge in this area and apply it to everyday practice

Offsite Echocardiograph Technician- Cardiology 

The Offsite Echocardiograph Technician performs echocardiograms and exercise stress tests of a non-invasive nature. This clinician maintains a high level of professional expertise to obtain consistent and accurate diagnostic information for the cardiologist and others on the medical team.

Qualifications

Medical Assistant:

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Certificate as a Medical Assistant from an approved school or equivalent training and experience
  • 0-2 years of Medical Assistant experience 

Licensing and Certification Requirements (if applicable

  • Completion of Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy certificate or Associates-level program
  • CMA/RMA Required

LPN

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Completion of Licensed Practical Nurse certificate program
  • 1.0-2 years as Licensed Practical Nurse
  • 2.IV and/or phlebotomy skills preferred
  • 3.Completes competency skill checklist within first 3 months.

Licensing and Certification Requirements (if applicable

  • Name: Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Issuing Agency: NYS / Department of State

Offsite Echocardiograph Technician- Cardiology 

Qualifications

  • 1 year of echocardiography experience preferred

Licensing and Certification Requirements (if applicable

  • RDCS Certification (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) issued by the ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) required, OR
  • Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Exercise Test Technologist issued by the American College of Sports Medicine preferred
  • Must maintain BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the AHA (American Heart Association)
