Classification Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma and one year of appropriate experience and a current BLS card. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Job Description:

This is a part-time position that will work a total of 20 hours per week. 

This position is required to travel to an off-site clinic, Wildlight Dental Clinic in Yulee, FL. every other Friday.

Principal duties and responsibilities assigned to this position are

• Chairside assisting
• 4-handed dentistry
• Taking radiographs
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and rooms
• Stocking operatories
• Scheduling patients
• Setting up rooms
• Cleaning the lab
• Keeping operatory clean and up to OSHA standards at all times
• Full utilization of expanded function skills

Expected Salary:

$18.00 - $20.00

Required Qualifications:

A high school diploma and one year of appropriate experience and a current BLS card. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Able to travel to the Wildlight Dental Clinic in Yulee, FL. every other Friday

Preferred:

• Previous dental assisting experience
• Expanded functions certificate
• Orthodontic experience preferred
