Radiant Brands, LLC is the U.S. branch of  Kaleidos Makeup , an independent, globally recognized beauty brand known for bold color, artistic design, and creative innovation. As we grow our U.S. product development team in  Austin, TX , we’re looking for passionate talent to help shape the future of color cosmetics.

This is an exciting  entry-level opportunity for someone who is  obsessed with makeup products , deeply knowledgeable about  formulas and categories , and eager to contribute to  developing innovative products that push boundaries .

What You’ll Do

As a  Product Innovation Associate – Color Cosmetics , you will research makeup history, trends, and market offerings to help identify opportunities for new product development across  core categories (lip, eye, face) and  emerging formats .

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and analyze the  history, trends, and evolution of makeup products across global markets.
  • Track product launches and innovations from  leading and indie beauty brands in color cosmetics.
  • Explore  product textures, finishes, formulas, and packaging with a keen focus on innovation.
  • Propose new product concepts and  category-expansion ideas based on user needs, market gaps, and brand positioning.
  • Participate in  store visits, competitive sampling, and beauty expos to experience trends and products firsthand.
  • Support product managers with early-stage development tasks, mood boards, concept briefs, and formula reviews.
  • Stay engaged with  online beauty communities and  influencer discussions to understand real-time consumer feedback and shifts.

  • A curious and detail-oriented researcher who enjoys  deep-diving into product history and global beauty trends .
  • A clear communicator who can  translate insights into actionable product ideas .
  • Comfortable working both online and  in the field (e.g., in beauty stores, events, or expos).
  • Passionate about building products that reflect  creativity, quality, and individuality .

Qualifications

We welcome  recent graduates or early-career professionals with a strong passion for beauty and product development.

Preferred (but not required):

  • Degree in  Cosmetic Science, Marketing, Product Design, Art, or a related field
  • Experience using or evaluating a wide range of  color makeup products
  • Familiarity with the beauty industry, especially  ingredient types, product claims, and formulas
  • Strong  research and documentation skills
  • An eye for detail in  texture, pigment payoff, and product functionality
