Sector: Utility-scale renewable energy (Solar + Storage)

Compensation: $130k-$160k + bonus

The Company

Our client is a leading renewable energy platform deploying capital into utility-scale solar and storage projects across the US.

The Role

The Project Finance Manager will be a key member of the execution team, supporting end-to-end transactions across development-stage and operating renewable energy projects.

The firm has an emerging US presence, with a significant pipeline of 4+ GW in various stages of the development process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial modeling for project-level transactions, including tax equity, debt financing, and M&A.
• Support all aspects of deal execution: due diligence, valuation, credit analysis, investor presentations, and documentation through close.
• Interface with internal teams (development, legal, engineering) and external stakeholders (banks, investors, advisors).
• Prepare investment memos and support recommendations to internal investment committees and executive leadership.
• Manage multiple active deals simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support capital markets activity and help optimize project structures to meet investor return thresholds.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in project finance, investment banking (power & utilities or energy), infrastructure private equity, or renewable energy tax equity.
• Deep understanding of financial modeling and structuring for renewable energy transactions.
• Demonstrated experience managing due diligence and closing processes for utility-scale solar and/or storage projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative nature, and high level of ownership.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field.
• MBA a plus but not required.
