Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Outpatient Behavioral Health /Substance Use Disorders

A respected leader in the behavioral health field, providing comprehensive and innovative behavioral health and substance use treatment services is seeking an outpatient psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner for a part or full time position.

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner to join a pioneer and visionary addiction medicine practice. This is an office-based addiction medicine practice integrated with behavioral health services. The practice believes in having a healthy balance between career and personal well-being; therefore, providers do not work nights, holidays or weekends and are not required to be on-call. The care model includes medical care, counseling, comprehensive toxicology testing, case management, medical management of medications and to provide compassionate care within a harm reduction model.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will be providing office-based, direct patient care for behavioral health, opioid and alcohol addiction at one or more outpatient locations. Candidate is expected to be a team player with great personal and professional character. You will act as a medical liaison between other medical/behavioral health providers and collaborate with the clinic physician. Collaborate with other staff regarding medication-assisted-treatment (MAT) and patient medical case reviews.
