Role Description

The Sales Representative for Medical Packaging & 3PL Services develops new business, maintains client relationships, and drives revenue growth by identifying and engaging key decision-makers in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and healthcare supply companies. A deep understanding of regulatory requirements, supply chain logistics, and customized packaging solutions is essential for providing tailored recommendations that meet industry standards and client needs.

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and healthcare supply chain sectors.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including procurement managers, supply chain directors, and operations leaders.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and service demonstrations tailored to client needs.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to company objectives.
  • Monitor client accounts to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities that align with their evolving needs.

Packaging & 3PL Expertise

  • Explain and sell third-party logistics (3PL) services, such as medical & personal care kitting, cold chain management, order fulfillment, and inventory management.
  • Present and promote custom packaging solutions, including secondary and tertiary non-sterile medical packaging, serialization, labeling, kitting, and compliance packaging.
  • Collaborate with regulatory, operations, and quality teams to ensure all client solutions comply with FDA, GMP, ISO, and other industry regulations.
  • Offer expert advice on risk mitigation strategies, product traceability, and supply chain optimization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Industry Engagement & Networking

  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to represent the company and generate leads.
  • Establish a strong industry presence by participating in professional associations and networking groups.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes, market trends, and technological advancements in medical packaging and healthcare logistics.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience in packaging, supply chain, logistics, or 3PL services in the key market segments outlined. A strong knowledge of B2B sales processes, contract packaging, serialization, and healthcare logistics is essential.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory compliance (FDA, GMP, ISO 13485, GDP) and cold chain logistics.
  • Experience working with medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and sales cycles simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed (domestically) to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
