Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:
- I am looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, alongside a minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or similar roles.
- Experience utilizing data replication and change data capture tools, such as Oracle GoldenGate.
- Familiarity with cloud services from providers like Oracle, specifically their data storage and database offerings.
- Proven experience in leading and managing an engineering team.
- Direct management experience, encompassing project, personnel, customer, and financial oversight.
- Proficient knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and big data technologies.
- High proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Responsibilities: - As a Lead Data Engineer, I will expect you to:
- Guide the design, development, and deployment of strong data pipelines that efficiently ingest, transform, and integrate data from diverse systems and networks, ensuring a continuous data flow.
- Collaborate with cloud and systems architects to create secure and effective data transfer protocols across different networks and systems.
- Work alongside data consumers to identify data requirements that support analytics and machine learning initiatives.
- Implement data pipelines and storage solutions to enhance analytic workflows.
- Optimize data pipelines and storage solutions for performance, ensuring minimal latency and high throughput for both real-time and batch data processing.
- Establish and enforce robust security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure adherence to applicable data security policies and protocols.

Preferred qualifications include:
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Knowledge of records management policies and procedures.

Additionally, please note the following clearance and physical requirements:
- Candidates must possess a current and active TS/SCI with polygraph.
- The role requires the ability to remain stationary for more than 50% of the time, communicate effectively with peers and senior personnel, and frequently operate a computer and other office equipment.
- The individual in this position will regularly engage with colleagues, management, and clients, which may include delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information.
- There may be occasional movement around the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
