Supplier Operations Analyst

Ongoing Contract (W2 - weekly pay, benefits, 40 hours/week)

$20/hr.

Location: Atlanta, GA 30339

Join a Fortune 20 retail leader as a Supplier Operations Analyst , where you’ll play a vital role in enhancing supplier engagement and optimizing digital merchandising strategies. In this role, you will contribute to implementing improved business processes and supplier strategies that elevate the company's supplier experience on its e-commerce platform. The focus is on supporting the growth and development of suppliers by streamlining onboarding, improving online product data standards, and resolving operational challenges efficiently.

As a key member of the Online Merchandising team, you will leverage data-driven insights to ensure suppliers are equipped with the tools, support, and guidance they need to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll partner cross-functionally with merchandising, supply chain, and IT teams to identify and execute opportunities for improvement while maintaining a strong customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the execution of supplier strategies to support seamless onboarding and ongoing management of supplier data and product listings.
  • Analyze supplier performance metrics and site data to identify gaps and recommend opportunities for optimization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve product accuracy, availability, and searchability on the website.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve supplier-related issues, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Continuously improve supplier-facing resources, processes, and documentation.
  • Track KPIs and prepare reports or presentations to communicate progress and insights to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Management, Economics, Retail Sciences, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in retail, merchandising, supplier operations, consulting, or corporate project management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams); experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
